The California Emergency Services Association, Southern Chapter (CESA) has given OperationOC and its volunteers a certificate of special recognition for “Outstanding Service to the field of Emergency Management.”

 

Freeway Fires 2008         Read more

Between November 18, 2008, and January 7, 2009, OperationOC served 437 fire victims comprising 155 households in its Level 2 recovery services for the Freeway Complex Fire in Orange County.

Winter Storms 2010         Read more

While most of Orange County was sloshing through the rain during the week before Christmas, residents of Silverado Canyon had much bigger concerns. Receiving 22 inches of rain in just five days, the canyon experienced significant mudslides and debris flows.
